I was listening to the Jim Breuer show on Sirius yesterday and they were quoting an unnamed source that Pearl Jam was indeed breaking up. They said it had something to do with Eddie Veder's solo particpation in a movie project. Does anyone know if this really true?

haven't heard this. that would be sad. pearl jam is a band that's been out doing their thing for nearly 20's and doing it their own way. they don't sell out to MTV, they don't pay tons of money to have their songs played on mainstream radio, they tour on their on accord and have been very active politically.

i'm no longer a Pearl Jam fan via any potential, yet absolutely everyone who says that no you will call the different contributors of the band is obviously no longer a trendy music fan. Jeff Ament became interior the movie Singles. those men are all trendy, merely no longer somewhat as seen as Eddie. i've got no longer heard that, yet while it have been actual, i would not be taken aback. They stopped being proper as quickly as the ninety's ended.

Ah...I love Jim Breuer.

Anyway, Pearl Jam is NOT breaking up. As soon as I read this question I went into a mini frenzy and checked the entire Internet. I don't know where Jim gets his info but he is wrong.

I highly doubt it. In an interview with rolling Stone Eddie Vedder and Jeff Ament spoke about how they would never break up. Also, it may be just what it is a side project but I doubt they would break up at all.
