How many of you guys play guitar?

Question

I have three guitars and a bass. I have a Takamine Acoustic/Electric, a Gibson SG, an old classical nylon string Suzuki, and a Fender Jazz Bass. I have been playing for many years. I am a bit out of practice due to my busy schedule. I am getting my guitars back into shape. I also have several small practice amps, Fender and Marshall and stomp box effects. My favorite stomp boxes are Boss.
Do you play guitar too? What kind of guitar to you have? What kind of amps and effects do you have? Do you write your own songs? I have written a few and have them posted on ReverbNation. I used to play at local coffeehouses but I have to get back to that. Some of the places I used to play out at have closed. What do you say, guitar players out in the Y!A community?

Yep, I'm a player, been playing around 5 and a half years now. As for guitars and stuff, well the list follows as such:

I play guitar. I have an acoustic by Arts and Lutherie in Canda. I write my own songs. Coffeehouses, the park and any place that has open mic night. I love guitar.

Yup..been playing over 25 years now. I'm an active musician from MA and have been lucky enough to get some wedding gigs lately.My days of playing bars are over...but still have great jam sessions with the bands in the area..I'm a "hired gun"..."have gear will travel" kind of deal..it keeps me in the game..other than that I do set ups. I have a few notebooks full of songs fromo ver the years,so yes I write material,countless cassetes from the 4 track days of riffs that are on the back burner..lol..ok..now for gear

1) DEAN USA Razorback (black& silver two tone) for C# tuning/metal

1) Fender USA Standard Strat ( hate the thing..damn volume knob always in my way...bought it for the "twang' sound) E standard tuning

1) Washburn USA N4 Nuno Bettencourt-Drop C metal

1) Gibson USA Les Paul "studio special"-Drp D and standard E for rock

1) Randall RGH100 head(solid state)- I wanted DIMES tone,so I got DIMES amp

1) Randall slant 4X12 cab loaded with(2 )100 watt Jaguars and (2) 100 watt Emmenince "Texas Heat" speakers

1) Crate 600 watt power mixer/PA for live stereo use.The EQ on the PA beefs up my signal quite nicely when micd

1) Boss ME-8 multi effects processor(floor unit)

1) Boss PH2- Super Phaser (the green one)

1) Digitech Wahmmy Wha (the huge red one)

1) Alesis studio effects rack mount- everything but gain/distortion

2) Shure SM series mics(mic the cab/live use)..either SM57 or 58's..I forget.

I got rid of so many stomp boxes over the years it's hard to keep track.No need for them with the current set up.So there's my basic rig ..it's all run using Spectraflex "fatsoflex" cables. Whew...that took some effort man..lol.. Rock On !!

I play bass.

I have an Ibanez. I can never remember the name of the model but it's only sold with the jumpstart pack.

When i get not crap I want to get a Schecter, Warwick ampyre Rockbass or a Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass (the last is the one i want most....also really cannot afford hehe)
