More specifically, the songs 'Through Heaven's Eyes' and 'When You Believe'. I really like the non-lyric vocals (ex. in WYB when the children are singing) and the instrumentals.

well, hans zimmer wrote the score for prince of egypt (the background music during the burning bush sequence is honestly the best thing i've ever heard in a movie ever). he's done the music for a bazillion other movies. some of the most memorable scores are the lion king (a collaboration with elton john), muppet treasure island, pirates of the caribbean, the davinci code, angels & demons, the dark night, sherlock holmes, inception...

anyway, the lighter stuff from prince of egypt, like "heaven's eyes," is sort of like the happy-go-lucky songs in "muppet treasure island," even though the muppet songs are pretty silly in comparison. but when it comes to "when you believe," the closest i can think of would be the slower, sadder instrumentals from "lion king" and "angels & demons."

i hope this is helpful, even though it's only material from one composer : )

definite, this movie Prince of Egypt is evil and should no longer be watched via anybody. it rather is slander against Allaah and His Messenger, Moosaa (Moses), peace be upon him. In Islaam we don't tolerate mockery of the Prophets of Allaah. And we don't tolerate that sinful, wicked persons such because of the fact the actor Val Kilmer to portray Moosaa and the voice of Allaah. Nor can we tolerate that our Prophet Moosaa, peace be upon him, could be portrayed as somebody who breaks out in music (with returned-up help from Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey) on an identical time as calling human beings to obey the instructions of God. it rather is from the severest of sins and mockery of the religion of Allaah. mendacity upon the Prophets, peace be upon them, is in comparison to mendacity upon anybody else.
