Songs with an important message?

So, for this assignment I have (Due in two days and didn't even start yet) I have to pick a song with "A serious or important message" and I also need to find out the message in the song and why it was important, why the writer wrote the song, what words were important, and what words were repeated and why. Well, I don't listen to modern music, I mostly listen to classical, but for this I have to pick a modern song, so, can someone help me out?
