Question:
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band = The Worst Album Of All Time. Don't you agree with me?

The Beatles are the most overrated band of all time. They haven't influenced any of today's music. If you like them you are a peace loving old hippie loser. If you really loved music you'd listen to Limp Bizkit and 50 Cent.

No I don't agree at all.

It had some all time classic hits on it.

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds

With a Little Help From My Friends

Getting Better

A Day In The Life

When I'm Sixty-Four

Within Without You

And I loved "She's Leaving Home"

Okay so I didn't go too much on "Lovely Rita" or "Good Morning, Good Morning"

And I like Limp Bizkit too.

I love the Beatles. Limp Bizkit is lame, though I like 50 Cent OK.

I hate Don Henley's solo stuff with a passion. I'd vote for pretty much anything he's done as, "worst album ever." I'm also not fond of many Eric Clapton songs. I despised "I'm Like a Bird" by Nelly Furtado, though her new skanky singles have been pretty entertaining. Coldplay and Oasis are WAY worse than the Beatles.

I once had to endure an opening act by Weezer while waiting to see No Doubt. Oh, the agony! What a terrible set! What a terrible show! I wanted to shoot them with tranquilizer darts like rogue bears and watch them sloooowly...fade...to...the...ground. And I'm not a drug user, but I went to see what was left of the Allman Brothers. Their opening acts (apparently composed of their kids and some random shmucks from the parking lot) were soooooo horrible...people were passing around joints and I almost wanted to take a hit, but I was afraid of getting some kind of mouth cooties from those smelly old biker/hippie poseurs with their long greasy hair and dirty designer jeans. Ugh. Drugs probably would have enhanced the experience a whole lot. I've never felt more ashamed to be white.

You can't put the Beatles in the same league as these other bands. At their worst, the Beatles are pretentious and weird. But did they sing songs about sweaters and do 45-minute-long jam sessions on "Ramblin' Man"? Noooo. Not even close.

Obviously you are in the minority here.

The Beatles are the one who spearheaded the 1960s British Invasion into the American Charts. They once occupied the top 5 positions in the Billboard Hot 100 in April 1964. A week later, they have 14 records simultaneously in the same chart. Those 2 achievements still stands today. No other acts have come close. And yet you say they are overated ? When Sgt Pepper was released on 1st June 1967, it was hailed as the greatest album ever & made a deep impact on all recording artists who tried to outdo the Beatles but failed. Today, Sgt Pepper is still consistently voted top of the polls by music critics.

The Beatles split up 36 years ago. They have no new songs, only repackaging of old songs & yet their albums still sells. Can you explain why?

You've got to be kidding....

Sgt. Pepper would've been better with the exclusion of "within you and without you" and the inclusion of Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane, which were meant of the album but thrown out as singles to please the anxious label.

If you really do think the Beatles sucked, I feel sorry for you. Perhaps you've never listened to most of their stuff. As for influenced? I'm pretty sure none of the "music" you're listening to would've been the same had the Beatles not existed. Many of the "songs" are made from samples of bands that were influenced by the Beatles.

Sgt Pepper's became a theory album and on an identical time because it ought to have been floor breaking back in 1967, it left a great sort of people scratching their heads and questioning what they heck the fab 4 became as much as. I trust you that Revolution became actual a much extra extra ideal album in influencing different musicians. My popular Beatles Album is Abbey highway. I pay attention to the music on that album and am in awe. They have been actual heading in a heavier direction and that i usually ask your self what their next album could have appeared like had the band not long previous their separate procedures.

I'm prolly one of the few people who can say I like all three groups you listed... Beatles, Bizkit, and 50. To say some crap like you said is just something to stir people up, because it's an album consistently ranked as one of the BEST albums of all time. Everyone was still standing around in ties singing songs about Sally Mary Sue before then, so I think the Beathes can be credited with bringing rock a step further in its evolution. The worst album ever would be something like... idunno, maybe some 80s hair metal band reunion album or something. Or something by Meatloaf. Not the Beatles.

Stop being such a f*cking loser! The Beatles have influence a LOT of today's music! That's the reason their music is still around. And who, exactly, have Limp Bizkit & 50 Cent influenced??? NO ONE! Because their "music" is MEANINGLESS.

Sorry, I like the Beatles. The whole point is music is an art form which means it's going to be liked by some and hated by others. So have your opinion and respect others. There's not need to be a self-centered jerk.
