I have a weird sleep schedule cause i work during the day then come home and work on electronic music tracks..then eventually go to sleep for work in the A.M.

But as much as i like composing electro with synths and drum machines, my favorite band ever is prolly Queen followed by Depeche Mode.

I think Freddie Mercury not only had the best male vocals in all of music but despite his flamboyance, he could literally control an entire stadium (i.e. Live Aid and Queen live At Wembley dvds)

No one simply could sing the vocal chord range that Freddie could and it is ashame that his fast lifestyle and promiscuousness or however its spelled led to his own demise.

He was a true genius and the entire band was well put together in every sense of the way.

Ok...i am done lol.

i respect that they are not calling it the "New Queen" but Queen + Paul Rodgers. They are close to finishing the new album, yes.

Queen was one of the greatest bands ever, and one of my favorite musical experiences of my high school days. I recommend getting the Classic Album series on DVD. Each DVD goes way behind the scenes interviewing the artists and even having the original producers pulling out the master tapes and showing you how things were recorded and listening to individual tracks and such. Theyre awesome. And there is one in the series for 'Night at the Opera'

I've been a Queen fan for a very long time. I simply adore Freddie. He was a great artist and a special man.

I was lucky enough, to be at the Wembley concert "Live Magic", back in 1986. I never imagined, it would be the last time I saw Freddie performing live. He was so vibrant!

It's something I'll never forget! We miss you Freddie!

DESPITE his flamboyance???

His flamboyance is what drew me to Queen in the first place!!

But yes, I happen to adore Queen and Freddie. Queen was probably the best mix of people ever, they fit together so well and the end result was mind blowing, they are my number 1 favorite band, hands down.

Brian May, Roger Taylor, Freddie Mercury and John Deacon are all gods.

Oh yeah! They were awesome! There's a commercial now which uses 'You're My Best Friend', and I still jump whenever I hear it... but then it's over in 15 seconds. =( Freddie was great!
