Question:
Any great song suggestions?

I'm putting together a playlist on YouTube for myself to listen to while I play games. I am looking for famous songs and must-haves. Things that I am interested in and already have are: Kanye West's stronger, Livin la vida loca, thanks 4 the memories, and etc. I'd like some American songs or ones that are popular in the U.S. When you suggest, please put the artist, name, and time period. Thanks a bunch!

Kid, you've got it all wrong! These musicial groups are perfect soundtracks for the modern mayhem games that are out now. So before you laugh at my list at least give a couple of them a chance especially RUSH, VAI, SATRINI AND MALMSTEEN!! Here are some suggustions:

"Sudivisions", "New World Man" and "Chemistry"

from Rush's 1982 'Signals' album

"YYZ" (Instrumental),"Tom Sawyer", "Red Barchetta", "Vital Signs", "Witch Hunt" and "Limelight

from Rush's 1981 'Moving Pictures' album

"Karn Evil 9: First Impressions Part 2" and "Hoedown"

from 1974 Emerson Lake & Palmer's Live 'Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends. Ladies And Gentlemen... Emerson, Lake And Palmer!' album

from 1977 Steve Miller Band's 'Book Of Dreams' album

"Space Intro", "Fly Like An Eagle" and "Mercury Blues"

from 1976 Steve Miller Band's 'Fly Like An Eagle' album

"Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" and "Blue Wind"

from 1976 Jeff Beck's 'Wired' album

"Stand On It", "Guitar Shop" and "Big Block"

from 1989 Jeff Beck's 'Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop' album

The entire 1981 Ozzy Ozbourne's 'Blizzard Of Ozz' album

"The Attitude Song" from 1984 Steve Vai's 'Flex-Able' album

"Tender Surrender" and "Bad Horsie"

"Flesh And Blood", "Breakout", "Hang On For Your Life Tonight", "Hollywood" and "Are You On My Side"

from 1981 Shooting Star's 'Hang On For Your Life' album

The entire 1976 Kansas' 'Left Overture' album

I could go on and on! This music between 1974 - 1995 was some of the best recorded music ever written! So put your headphones on and kill, maim and destroy to this background wall of sound that consumed my high school years until I turned 36! Enjoy the ride...

Well, it kind of depends on what type of game you're playing.

If it's something like Halo or Doom then some good songs would be "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed, or "Let the Bodies hit the Floor" by Drowning Pool which i guess were made around 2006 or something

Look up Requiem for a Dream (I don't know the artist but its very popular with gaming vids and the like)

If you like Kanye West's "stronger", try the original "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk - or ANYTHING by Daft Punk for that matter - they're ridiculously good!
