Dead splinter groups? Dead cover bands? Jam bands like Phish?

That happened a long time ago, I'm afraid. They are doing well enough without Jerry Garcia -- they did not want to replace him.

A lot of the old Deadheads have started following the Dave Mathews Band around.

i still love the grateful dead even if jerry is gone. i don't follow anyone else besides . the grateful dead is too good to re-place. i mean sure there are cover bands but they will never be as good as the grateful dead themselves.
