You just cant pick one out of the group....They were all good together and I live near the old Motown Museum and I can see it when I go down Grand Boulevard in

DETROIT...I see the Old Cass Tech and Northwestern and Attended Northwestern...It is in the Temptations Movie...I was class of 84 and My parents went to Northwestern...The Old Building in the Movie was a Prop and did not do it justice...I never went inside...Its a Church Now...REBUILT of course..with No Basement because the foundation is still there...Anyway...I find the group to be a colaboration of the best of the best Tennor and Base singer was very mixed by the voices of all the members...They lived the music world and I feel drugs got the best of them and it is hard to believe the fame rushed them...The songs last longer and went through time so you cant separate the leads...They may argue the words and who is the best among themselves but in music it is a team...It is a joint effort and they could have went solo but the story behind the fame is what counts...The art the music stands the test of time and still sounds fresh. They were not paid much but it seemed like a lot to them.

Contracts were all business and friendship so I like them all for the group effort and love the individual parts...I feel the replacements who do the songs and wear the uniforms as the stage costumes were all a part of the Motown Machine and the back up bands were only one band...I was like WOW it was one band the Funk Brothers. The turbulant 60's and the times to be among the greats...and they did not even know they were greats...I cant separate them...I am sorry you feel the need to do so...They were brothers...kinship...and a business...Otis Williams comes to mind and the friendship of Smokie Robinson and Stevie Wonder and the new help they gave to Rick James...I was so close to the area but not close to the time...I am like WOW and I just look at the Museum on the Now Barry Gordy Ave...and In awe when I see Aretha Franklin..in a limo at Mc Donalds when I was working there and Stevie Wonder sign his name with his finger prints when I worked at the Secretary of the Notary and I saw his body guard discribe me to him...I screamed after he left the office..at 19 I was and the fact I saw Barry Gordy and Smokey Robinson sign a contract at the bank when I worked there and the contract was on my desk with the signatures...It was a document and I was afraid to have it on my desk as a temp...so I turned it in...I was just not suppose to have it and it seemed like a set up by girls who did not like me...O all in all...I am in the shaddows of love standing....God Bless The Men...Who were tempting...Temptations...of Music and Motown...and Please excuse our scandal here...I went to church with the Mayor before he was Mayor and His Mom the Congress Woman. Just think of him as a father with the baby drool of his son all on the shoulder of his good suit. He was so hopeful and went to everyones church and kept going around the city being friendly in appearance. I cant believe he wont step down and save us from this nightmare...I cant watch him go out like this..pushing the press and fly off the handle statements. I wish it would all go away but we are strong and by prayer and with God we will see this through to the end...and be even stronger...Pray for Detroit...Thanks For Reading....

To me, the voice that best defines The Temptations is David Ruffin. Aside from all his personal and drug problems, his voice was just amazing (ballsy, as you put it so well). Now, this doesn't mean that the others are throw-aways; on the contrary, they were all gifted musicians. What made The Temptations so great was that they endured the constant personnel changes and kept cranking out great music. I listen to their music often and put them at the top of all Motown groups.

They were a compliment to each other. When Ruffin left to shoot up, Edwards filled in, and they were just as good. Because they were 5 guys. Each guy had a role. Not just the David Ruffin show.

Please dont. You are so young and if you realy do like this girl then stay with her and tell her you dont want to if she keeps pushing and tries to tempt you in anyway then she obviously dont respect your wishes. Why should it be different if a guy push a girl into that? Its both the same no means no. You will benifit from this in the long run. Oh and secretly it means alot to a woman if a man waits for the right one on the right time in the right place. I lost my V card when i turned 18 and im still with the guy. we have been together for almost 3 years and im so glad he waited for the right girl. We will propably get married in a few years. I just have lots more respect for a man who knows where he stands and what he wants. Dont let loose girls trick you into a few seconds of pleasure it will ruin the real moment in the long run.
