ABSOLUTELY NOT TOO LATE!!!!!! You don't have to be a child to learn an instrument. My dad is 60 this year and he started to learn the flute only about 4 years ago and he already wants to do a recital next year so you are definitely not too old!! Honestly it does'nt matter at what age you start, its just the amount of work you put into it and if you really want to then I'm sure you will learn quickly. I think some people think that some people are put off learning because some children (I believe) are very musically gifted and do excel when they are younger but you don't have to be Mozart to learn!! I personally think that you should try the violin because its such a nice instrument and I if I could learn another instrument then I would choose the violin. Music is really easy to read and its only the first few steps that are hard. Its just like reading a book once you can do it so don't worry about that. I think the thing with music is that its can seem really hard if you can't play but its mainly just about the work you put into it and then you'll realise that its not that hard. Also it does'nt matter if you older and you want to learn because you already have enough life skills to learn and try new things so you will probably learn just as quickly or even more quicly than some children.

Hope you decide to learn and good luck to you if you do:)

Trust me I think it'll be one of the best things you will ever do-or trust 280 people who also think you should!!

Not only are there thousands of people learning at various ages, many are adults.

Now it may be easier as a child to master both an instrument and reading music, but an adult can master both with a bit more effort. Effort because of life. Children don't have to worry about work or rent or other adult worrries, so they can devote more of their time than adults.

I'm 40 myself and learning guitar. So if you start now, I wouldn't be surprised if by the time your 40 you would be a great musican. Oh yeah! Go ahead, take up guitar, and when your 40, you'll probably be better than I will at 50! haha!

Go! Enjoy! learn what you want to learn!

You only grow old when you stop learning!

What was that you said, memory is a going?

Jeez it's hard getting 30 and lets face it I will be 31 this year. I know time to look in to the dipens but will face that problem when I get there.

Wait a minute now I remember your question; I stopped learn at 20 my brain just got to old. Right after college I had to say to those jobs forget the training brain is just too old to retain anything more or new.

Then again, your 28 still a kid go ahead learn the musical instrument, and listen to me youngen cause I am your elder.

Now I have to go, looking for the right words for my tombstone. At my age one can't be too careful. Maybe I'll engrave finished learning at 21 now all my fun is done.

Both can be learned at any age.

Guitar is more flexible as you do not have to read music to learn to play, or you can just learn chords. A good guitar is cheaper than a good violin, more teachers are available, and your opportunities to play will be greater. There are many types of music you could learn from country, blues, jazz, rock, classical, spanish etc.

With some exceptions, violin requires a more classical trained background, requiring more music study, for small string quartets, ensemble, or orchestra.

Visit a local music store and take some introductory lessons with each instrument, and see which one you enjoy more. Music requires practice, so you want something you love to hear. You can rent the instruments, until you decide which you want.

Its never to late to try a musical instrument. Here are 5 reasons why:

5 Reasons to Play a Musical Instrument

Learning to play a musical instrument offers a lot of benefits. I personally believe that if there's one thing you should learn in your lifetime, it is how to play an instrument. Here are 5 reasons why:

1. Playing a Musical Instrument Makes you Smarter

Many studies have been conducted on the effects of music to the brain. Scientists say that children who are exposed to music or those who play an instrument do better in school than those who don't. Recent research suggests exposure to music may benefit a child's reading age, IQ and the development of certain parts of the brain. Adults can benefit from learning to play an instrument too because it helps the mind to be alert and active eventually helping to sharpen the memory.

2. It Teaches Discipline

Learning to play an instrument is like learning to speak another language and it can be challenging at times. One of the qualities music players possess is discipline. You have to be disciplined in order to master playing your instrument. You have to set time each day to practice, practice and practice some more.

3. Playing a Musical Instrument Relieves Stress

We all have days when we are so stressed out and we just want to take a break from it all. Have you ever noticed that when you hear soft, soothing music you feel more relaxed? Playing an instrument can do that and more, especially if you're the one playing. Music is one of life's simple joys, it helps calm the mind.

4. Sense of Achievement

If you're a beginner learning to play your first piece, it can be frustrating. But once you've mastered it, the satisfaction you'll feel is priceless. Never mind if it's just a simple piece, believe me you'll never forget the first piece you've mastered. You are one more step closer to achieving your goal. that is certainly something to be proud of.

5. Playing a Musical Instrument is Fun

Sure it can be a lot of hard work but there is no denying playing an instrument is fun. Once you get better at it, opportunities will arise for you to share your newly learned skill with your family and friends. Who knows, you may also consider playing professionally in the future. Playing a music instrument opens up a lot of good possibilities that will surely enrich your life.

Never too late never too old ,if you have interest time and commitment you can accomplish the instrument you choose. Violins are beautiful to look at and listen to,it will take time to pick up the skills and put the notes together to make music but worth it and if you can play a violin you have the skills then to play any stringing instrument. Guitars is an excellent choice too both come in electric as well. Enjoy all the best take care ~A~

Hey!!!, no ways. If you are really interested in doing this, then I dont think Age will bar you doing it. Infact, 28 is the age you should be doing it, you are independent, you have the resources needed. As far as I know , I dont think there is any rule suggesting that you cant understand or read music once you are 28. I needn't be done when you are a kid itself. If a young child of 5 or 6 can learn the violin or guitar, barely when he can hold it, then surely you could do it at 28. Children start music at 4 and 5 ........barely when there voices or fingers have developed to strum the strings, then you could do it.

All the best............. I suggest you see the film "SUR" as a confidence booster. Ananya Rao

OUch!!!!!!!! I am only 30 and the day someone tells me I am too old they'll get a cane in the face. Your question hurts me as I look into the mirror wondering if it means I will need dentures. Am I that old dog you can't teach new tricks to. Wait chronic back pain coming in again. Lick me and call me a Salty Dog. Wait whats this ipod thing, can't keep up with these new fangled gadget in my day they had walkmans. Yeah and CD players but those were for the likes of my younger sister she 26 not quite as old as you.

Hey there. I dont know if you'll get this due to the amount of replies. I actually found this "chat room" by typing to old to learn to play guitar in the search engine. I also am 28 and picked up a guitar for thr first time in the past 3 months, I've been having doubt's. I say we go for it. If we were 15 and started by now we'd be pretty damn good! So why not be 40 and be even better! Lets go for it!
2006-10-09 14:30:50 UTC
Absolutely not! In fact, scientists are finding that learning to play an instrument can help delay or prevent the effects of alzheimers disease. Doing anything that is not in your usual skill set does this. For example, taking a poetry class when you are used to doing math or learning to do math when you've only done creative writing. Another good exercise is switching routines. If you always get up in the morning and take a shower, then eat, try eating first every now and then. Switch which hand you normally do things with. If you normally brush your teeth with your right hand, use your left. Just be careful! Anything you learn especially if it really takes you out of your comfort zone can not only be fun, but lifesaving. Good luck and have fun! By the way, I'm 47 and getting ready to try piano and guitar!
2006-10-09 18:26:27 UTC
It all depends on what you expect to learn. If you just want to learn a little and be able to play a few tunes then that is quite possible. If you have the want to entertain people then it is much more practice and learning. It is not likely you would become a professional musician beginning so late.

To be good in music there has to be talent to start with and then it is a lot of practice with instructions from those that know. You will have to commit yourself to at least two hours of practice every day. More is better in this case.

It is possible to get rich without knowing very much about music. Just look at all the punk noise makers out there getting paid big money to annoy the world.

No I am not a musician. I spent 40 years working in the music industry and knew many musicians from very good to very bad.

It's never too late. Sometimes when you're a child you think you want to do something and then you lose interest. At this age, you know you want to do it. Start with guitar. Violin is difficult so you may get discouraged. Piano or guitar would be a good start and once you get you confidence in place, go for the violin or other instrument.
2006-10-10 13:22:03 UTC
Its never too late to do anything in life. Especially if you really want to do it, then it will be that much easier to learn. Yes musicians who are brought up with the instrument are naturally better and know how to read and write music. Dont worry about that, plan ahead with your instrument as to what you want: Is it to help you relax? Help your creative mind? Or you just want a new skill under your belt. So many questions, the best thing to do is if you do get a musical instrument, find someone else(a friend, family, or even hire someone) to help you through the tough phase of beginning stumblers.

I join the rest of the optimistic crowd at encouraging you to learn to play an instrument. You may have hidden talent yet to be explored. What's more, the avocation of playing music is good for the soul and keeps your mind active.

I learned to play the five-string banjo at 21 years of age, but started to play the guitar when I was 16. While I concentrate on guitar because there is so much more to learn, I can still pick the banjo using the different chords it has.

Learning some basic music theory will open the gates of progression for you. Playing by ear is fine, but there are compositions that will elude your ear and that is when playing notation comes in handy.

Playing "The Flight of the Bumblebee" by sheet music made it a worthy accomplishment. Trying to play that piece by ear would have been impossible.

So go for it! Choose your instrument and watch life become richer for you.

No girl, it's never too late to learn to play an instrument. 28, u r still very young. go 4 it girl. Age aint nothing but a number. i think u should learn both at the same time. that way, you apply what you've learnt to both instruments @ d same time. of course both can b mastered well especially when you are a child. since when you are a child ur mind is normally quicker in catching on to things.

It is never to late to learn to play an instrument, lots of people say children learn faster but that isn't true,it's just they have no distractions from everyday life like an adult might have, bills, debts, relationships etc,so no i think you should take up playing an instrument,it's got to be the guitar!! so much more usefull than a violin, when did you last see a band in a pub with a violin player? I myself started playing guitar at 26,and although i'm no jimi hendrix i really enjoy it,so go ahead get that guitar!!.

I think it's wonderful that you want to learn to play an instrument.

You need to put in a lot of work, learning to read music will be the hardest part, it's like learning another language. If I were you I'd invest in some good lessons to get you started.

My belief is that you can do anything that you put your mind to. I think when people say things are easier to learn when you are a child is rubbish! Life is a learning experience. Generally people don't find so much time to learn new things when they are older due to other commitments.

Good for you and good luck!

I know that it is much easier for a child to learn to play an instrument. There is something in a child's brain that helps them retain information better. That is partly the reason why we go to school for such an important period of our lives. While it is not impossible for you to pick up an instrument, it will definitely be a bit harder for you then for, say, a 10 year old. No offense to you, I'm sure you'll do great, but mastery will take a little longer for you. By the way, what instrument are you picking up??

Have fun! (I play the oboe, piano and the flute so I totally know where you're coming from. :)

With a boyfriend like yours, you NEED a hobby that will give you an excuse to be around other people! There is no age that is good or bad to learn something new. Give it a try & if your don't like one instrument, you can always try another! Don't forget that your voice is an instrument too, so if you can sing, you already have mastered one instrument & the others will just be icing on the cake! Have fun & enjoy your new hobby! Violin tends to be harder on your neighbors ears when you are first learning to play it!

Of course it's not too late. However, don't be too hard on yourself and expect the same results as with a child - you will learn some things faster than a child but others a bit slower. The thing is to ENJOY doing it because it's something you want to do for yourself.

You can achieve quite fast results with the guitar if you can get through the initial fingertip pain. Violin can take a bit of time to get through the squeaky, screechy stage but well worth it.

Not at all! I learned the viola when I was 12, and guitar when I was 21. I think it's never too late to learn a musical instrument or a foreign language... people believe that it's easier for children to do so, but that doesn't mean adults cannot. Go for it!

It is never too late to learn something new. As far as reading music goes, it just takes skill and you either learn it or not. You don't have to be a kid to master it. All it takes is years of practice. I personally play the Flute and Piccolo and would love to learn the Violin. I say you should go for it and while you are at it chuck that boyfriend of yours for not being supportive of the things you would like to do.

Absolutely Never too late to begin learning a musical instrument! I have been playing the guitar since 1991, and I am starting new lessons on Saturday! I have played the sax, flute, bass and drums and never taken lessons other than when I was an elementary school student. There are different hurdles and stumbling blocks at different times, which all prove your accomplishment when you are able to look back and see your progress. (Just like life, huh?) Your first hurdle will be to train your fingers to move in new ways, muscles will be soar, but move in little steps with practice. Next will be hand eye coordination. As we grow we become more skilled and efficient at learning, so your maturity, and personal interest and drive, will allow for an ability to grasp musical concepts quickly. It is true that children poses pure and open minds that are able to accept things that adults have been trained they are not capable of, and adults have been beaten down by society to do only that which makes them fit in. Your friends will admire and be jelous of you, do it for yourself! ...And pooh pooh to your boyfriend for Noit being Supportive of You! GoodLuck and enjoy!

It is never too late to learn an instrument. It all depends on the drive and ambition you have to learn music and anything related to a specific musical instrument. Pay attention to several instruments and take it from there... the instrument you identify yourself with is the one you should learn. Now if it's just a "phase", then trying to learn how to play something wont be really helpful, 'cause you never will. You have to and be able to want to enjoy the music, and the instrument itself.

No it's not too late, in fact I think that's a great idea. It'll give you something extra to be involved in. Since you can't read music you can start off taking lessons for beginners or there are even books you can buy that can help you and pretty soonyou'll be playing the guitar and violin like a pro...good luck!

It is never too late - and now you are at an age where you can truley appreciate learning a muscial instrument! I started playing the cello when I was 5 and hated it. I love it now - but I think it's partly a maturity thing and being able to appreciate the music. I was just encouraging a friend of mine to start up an instrument and she's 26. It's never too late - go for it! :)

Well, it's much easier to learn to play an instrument when you are younger, as your brain picks things up easier. Much like language.

I began playing the piano at around 6, and at 10 I began learning to play the oboe (they consider it to be the most difficult woodwind to play, but I don't know about that).

It's never too late to learn to play music. I would recommend starting out with piano, as it is a good instrument for learning to read music with. There are many guitarists out there who can't read traditional sheet music, and rely on chord progressions. We classical musicians tend to make fun of them, as they usually struggle. That's why you should definitely start out with all the basics. It will expand your knowledge regardless of what you end up playing.

See if you know someone who teaches piano lessons, or even try to find one in the yellow pages. Good luck to you! :)

It is never too late to learn if you have the 'gift'. I started playing guitar at age 25. After a few years I switched to bass and started playing in bands shortly after that. I'm 42 now and I am thinking about getting a keyboard and learning to play. My mom makes a little extra money playing organ at her church and at weddings. I think I could do something like that.

No! It's never too late. We have a man at out church that learned how to play the violin and he is 40!

Reading music gets easier the more you practice. Plus you will only be playing cord or treble clef which is pretty easy.

Don't ever ever give up! You can do anything you put your mind to!

It's always not too late to learn a musical instrument as long as you want to learn it! There's still some parents that learning piano with their children, if they can do it, why cant you? so, be brave and try it! you can do it! guitar is more to improvise while violin is more to classical, it depends to what song you would like to play with. If you like to sing a long pop song, guitar will be the one. If you want to enjoy the music, violin be your choice. i got a lot of friends cannot read music but can play guitar, while violin, you need to learn to read 1st then you ll master it very fast! so, hope you enjoy the beauty of music~

Although learning something completely new, and with so many complexites to it, is better the earlier it is learned - it is never too late.

When we are toddlers even, the amount of information we can retain is amazing, and we learn at an amazing rate. However, the older we get, the less we are able to learn quickly. That's why it is sooo much harder learning a language after the age of 18-21.

You still can learn anything at any age, but just so, it will take more patience and tolerance as it will take longer.
Hi y´all !

It is never too late. A friend of mine in his EIGHTIES (!) learned to play the piano.

You'll probably not become a virtuoso, but you will get a lot of satisfaction and pleasure out of learning to play an instrument.

I would advice against the violin, because that is a much more complicated instrument than the guitar and to master it would take considerably longer.

Good luck!

Learning to read music as an adult is much easier than learning it as s child. Children have hard time reading the normal letters. You already have fully developed mind.

On the other hand, training your ear might be a little harder. Do the piano first, then violin. Piano, when properly tuned, will help you with that. Nowdays with wonderful electronic pianos tuning is no longer an issue. If byuing one, make sure to get one with the real "weighted" keys, not with the spring-loaded keys.

You don't have to start young...and sweetie, you are still young..do what is in your heart..if you have the music inside you..do not let that passion slip by. Today, I play the piano flute, and piccolo...

Guitar and Violin are both so hot.

Of course not Hun!You are never too old to learn. And learning an instrument is the best! I may take time but you'll catch on. You should make a list of things you would like to learn and then go for it! Life is too short so you must live it up while you can!

No problem. It's easy if you really want to do it. NO, you don't have to be a kid. Guitar or violin? If you mean classic guitar, then whatever you like best. If it's just for fun, go for guitar. I play guitar, keyboards and some flute, and can read music (not really well, but I don't need to) I played by ear since forever, but learned to read music in my 20's. So you see, no problemo..... ☺

No way! Anytime in life is a good time to learn an instrument. As a kid I played viola even though I wanted to play piano - I can now play both and a few others. It takes, time, commitment and a bit of patience, but it is well worth it!

You didn't say what instrument but here are some great starting sights:

I been playing guitar for 14 years self taught and i still cant read music. Where most musicians can read music as easy as a child book I would have to study it just to get a few notes worked out. Thankfully its easy to hear some music and figure it out and i really dont need to read music for what i play. Never to late to learn anything especialy if you really want to learn it.

I am a seasoned musician currently teaching a gentleman

over 65 how to play guitar and read music.

so the short answer is NO.trust me if you want to learn

you can however I would reccomend a qualified instructor

to show you proper technique and how Not to do things.

you will not get that from a book or CD.you need the human element to show you what's what.go for it

next up is a lady over 40 so you have it made

No. I don't think so. But it will be more challenging than with a 10 year old. It's like learning a language. The best time to learn languages is before age 14, but I know dozens of people way into their 50's learning new languages, so it shouldn't be different for instruments.

Give it shot, though!

it's never too late to learn to play an iknstrument. Depending on if you are willing to pay for lessons of not I would go with the guitar if you want to learn how to play on your own time. It's easy to learn guitar on your own. My suggestion is to rent the instrument from some sort of renting facility of instruments. that way you can work your way up to buying it and if you decide you don't like the instrument you can just stop renting it.

well your boyfriend isn't into creativity and the enrichment of you...

talk to someone who can teach you violin.. the lessens are cheap! if you have an local music store or go to your yellow pages, online.. for locals who teach violin.

good luck!

oh yes those telling your that another instrument is better.. no no... all instruments are great.. but if you want violin... yes do so!

i mean seriously!

the violin is such a beautiful and wonderful thing... do this!

As long as your practice you should be just fine--no matter what age. When you are younger you may grasp things a little faster, but it's like the saying goes, you can teach an "old" dog new tricks.

I plan to learn an asian language someday, and I am 25. So don't sweat it. I see lots of support already listed, and I say go for it too!

If it is something you want to do and learn you'll keep at it. :-)

Good luck!

How long it takes to learn guitar depends on how good you want to get and how much practice you put in. How good you can get with 1-2 hours a day for a few months depends on what methods you use to practice. There are effective practice methods that will help you make the best use of your time. This course is one of the best. https://bitly.im/aMSPd It's not just about how much you play but how effectively you play that will determine how good you will get.

Not at all. As long as you are interested in learning something, there is nothing called too late. Learning something is what our brain does which starts from the day you are conceived till you die. "Learning iscontinues from womb to tomb" and learning music just like learning any other skills is one of those things you can do. Your interest and passion for it will help you to learn fast and easy.

I do not know what you will choose-guitar or violin but just check out these links for beginner lessons:

28...to me that is still young. In this say and age you are only about a quarter way through life. There is no reason that you couldn't start any musical instrument that you wanted to. I'm 33 (which is still young) and I'm still tossing around the idea to pick up an instrument myself. I say go for it.
2006-10-09 12:25:57 UTC
By "standards" yes you are old. Most musicians do start young, but what does that matter? You're going to be doing this just for you (I assume). It's perfectly fine to begin playing an instrument. It's lots of work whether you start young or not.

I mean I'm 19 and I started piano a year ago. Do I care? Not at all...

There is no age when the brain cannot grow new synapses.

In other words, learning never ends. 28 is not too old - 65 is not too old - to start. Reading music is not difficult to learn either - it's not any more complicated than reading the alphabet.

Good Luck

Absolutely not too late- and good for you! Although it is much easier for one to learn while still a child (no preconceptions), give yourself some credit. You're a much wiser person now than you were then, so start from the platform of life experience in learning other skills and go from there.

Music is a wonderful outlet. And besides, if you don't do it now, in five years, you'll be five years older and you still will not have done it... but if you start now, you'll be five years ahead.. it's all in how you look at it. Good luck.

Of course not! As long as you have the time and money for this instrument..put ur heart into it and go for it!! Violin will take a few weeks to get the basic notes down but its worth it as I play it myself! There are private tutors out there for both guitar and violin..so just go for it!

Uh, I'd definitely lean toward the gee-tar. The violin is much more difficult to play and sounds a lot worse when you don't play it well. There's a TON of online resources, videos, etc. that will teach you to play guitar. And even if you're not that good, as long as the guitar is in tune, it will sound pretty decent.

Of course, I'm sure you will rule at it. :-)

Not true. Anyone can learn to play an instrument if they put their mind to it. I never learned to read music and picked up guitar when I was 12 and now I play very, very well. Yes you can.

It might be better to start when you are younger but you can start now. To read music it may be better to have lessons. Usually the store you buy the guitar or violin from can make suggestions about lessons/instructors. Also, you can find used instruments on ebay, internet or and in stores.

It is never to late to learn anything. Just because you reach a certain age doesnt mean your brain stops. In 10 years when you are 38, you might say, "I should have done it. I should have tried." How are you ever going to know if you dont try? If you want something bad enough, you can make it happen. I am 42 and I refuse to let a number (age) stop me from doing anything.
Heather S
2006-10-09 13:19:01 UTC
I don't see why it's too late.

Say it takes you 5 years to learn. So you can be a 33 year old who plays guitar or you can be a 33 year old who doesn't. Regardless, you're still going to be 33 right? You might as well be a 33 year old who is doing something that she wants to do.

It might take a little longer to master, or you might pick it up like it was what you were born to do.

Enjoy!!

Hi SJ!

Definitely not.

I play the guitar almost professionally, but I cannot read music either. On top of that, I am left~handed and play strum with my left, on a regular guitar.

Yeah, being left~handed on a right~handed guitar, I practically a;most learnt it by myself.

Think of the many benefits of knowing how to play {and sing along} musical instruments. Music is powerful! Especially if you play spiritual music that can heal and creat strong positive vibrations!

Happy playing!

For guitar: get a decent acoustic for about $150. Start out playing folk music, it is easiest.

no you're never too late to learn anything. i'm 13 and i know because i've started playing three years ago and i can play and read notes almost as well as those who are much older than me and has been playing since they were toddlers. first, buy one those teach your self how to play piano books and so you get the basics. then, you can buy more books ( more cheaper than getting a teacher) or if you can afford it, get a teacher but i have to warn you, it's like over 40 bucks for a hour.

Please: Try the piano !!!

It is not that easy --- but after the first hour You will

HEAR a result. Honest. Imagine someone who is playing the violin... he is practicing and practicing over five years without any results. But if You take piano-lessons, You will hear something nice in the first hour ---- something You played with Your own hands. Isn't that amazing. Isn't that great ?!!!

In my opinion it's never too late ...Even at 90 year old ... If you enjoy learning and playing it I don't see any obstacles at all. It's all a matter of motivation.

Age ain't nuthin' but a number. It's only too late if you *BELIEVE* it is.

I'm committed to being a life long learner. When someone says that I'm "too old" to learn something, I tell them that they're too naive to believe that. It's up to me to prove them wrong, otherwise they'll continue to think in error.

Reading music gets easier the more you practice. Plus you will only be playing cord or treble clef which is pretty easy.

If by age 28 you don't know, then you never will. You sound like a person that loves music, but has no initiative on creating it, so stick to what you do best.

Don't worry... I can't read music and i can play the recorder and the flute. wha thelps me is you write the notes letter(like C,D,E,Bflat...) write above the actual note untill you get the hang of it. Oh by the way here are the dirty little secret lyrics from all-american rejects... don't ask...

Let me know that I've done wrong

When I've known this all along

I go around a time or two

Just to waste my time with you

Tell me all that you've thrown away

Find out games you don't wanna play

You are the only one that needs to know

I'll keep you my dirty little secret

(Dirty little secret)

Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret

(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)

My dirty little secret

Who has to know

When we live such fragile lives

It's the best way we survive

I go around a time or two

Just to waste my time with you

Tell me all that you've thrown away

Find out games you don't wanna play

You are the only one that needs to know

I'll keep you my dirty little secret

(Dirty little secret)

Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret

(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)

My dirty little secret

Who has to know

The way she feels inside (inside)

Those thoughts I can't deny (deny)

These sleeping dogs won't lie (won't lie)

And now I try to lie

It’s eating me apart

Trace this life out

I'll keep you my dirty little secret

(Dirty little secret)

Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret

(Just another regret)

I'll keep you my dirty little secret

(Dirty little secret)

Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret

(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)

My dirty little secret

Dirty little secret

Dirty little secret

Who has to know

Who has to know
