I personally believe that this song is about a man who loves a woman but believes that he will never be good enough for her or deserve her. She keeps trying to get close to him, but he keeps pulling away because he believes it won't last. He thinks that one day she will realise that she is so much better than him and will leave. And he couldn't bear that.



she's like the wind- the wind comes and goes, does it not? Thats what it means. It comes, hits you and then goes. So, this woman will come and go, no matter what he does or how much he loves her.
