I just bought a nice synth (Korg R3), and i want a midi keytar to control it, w/ limited budget. I like the Roland AX-Synth, but its really expensive.
Ideas???

Well to be honest the roland ax synth is a really good keytar because of its built in sound engine and all you need is the keytar itself and an amp to go with. Yes it is really expensive but is well worth buying but its what ever suits you best. Oh and also try to find keytars like the roland ax synth. It does suck that most keytars need to be hooked up to another synth.

If you don't mind small keys, the Yamaha SHS-10 can be found for as little as $200 if you hunt around a bit. The on-board sounds are typical cheesy 80's FM, but it works great as a contoller. It's about the cheapest keytar you'll find.
