Ok I think it's alan jackson. It was a song about a father and son who weren't talking because of a disagreement. Then the father died before they could mend fences. He's telling his son about it. In the video at the end it shows him walking through a graveyard holding a little boys hand. I need this for a funeral so all the help will be appreciated.

Are you sure it's Alan Jackson? I think I know what you're talking about but I am drawing a big blank as to who sang the song.

I do not think it's Alan Jackson though.

If the "muse" visits I will return to this question and see where you are at.

Conwat Twitty - "That's My Job" is about a father and son having a falling out.

In the soundtrack directory of The Negotiator, monitor two (with pipes) is titled "Elegy". This feels like uilleann bagpipes - now not the Scottish Great Highland Bagpipes generally performed at funerals. Amazing Grace could be probably the most most often music performed at a funeral. Flowers of the Forest may be very wellknown.

Ok, I know it's not Alan Jackson, but I am also drawing a big blank. I know what song it is but for the life of me can't think of the name. Sorry, if I think of it I will be back.
