Whose heard Green Day's new song, "Working Class Hero"?

Why is it when songs are released there said to be new. You can listen to the music on their CD. Like Nickelback's new song "If Everyone Cared", that was already on their CD and they say its new, how can that be? Also why do radio stations only play certain songs from certain groups. Like Green Day or Nickelback, you only some of the songs on the radio why is that??? I know that radio stations only play certain types of music but why is the song choice limited. Why don't they choose other songs to be played on a group's CD???

technically Working class hero is not a new song anyways. It's a Green Day cover of John Lennon's song but it is new for Green Day. radio stations list the song as new because it's a new addition to the station's play list so technically for them it is new.

it is "new" because the artist is releasing the song off of their cd for the public. many times people don't have a bands cd and they hear a "new" song from a cd that has been out like a year. you can't just call a radio station and tell them to play a song that isn't released.

nicely this is a John Lennon music from the early 70's and understanding him its approximately what advance into happening in the international at that factor. He advance into very outspoken on political themes and the Vietnam conflict. I fairly remember the music, it did no longer get plenty air play, and he stubborn alot in it so i actual basically listened to it some cases, yet besides its his imaginative and prescient, no longer green Day's!

"Working class hero" was recorded in like 1970 by John Lennon, so it is not at all "new". I can't stand it when they say something is a new song, and it has been out for like ever. especially when they started playing "rock star" by nickel back on the radio, they said it was new, and my sister and I started cracking up!

because they can only play songs that have been released. Also, when they say 'new' song it means their latest single, so its new if you dont have the album.
