I have a Vantage guitar that was signed by Kurt Cobain, as well as the other members of Nirvana. I also have certificate verfiying the signature's authenticity. Kurt never played the guitar - just signed it and handed it back. Any idea what it's worth?

If you're trying to sell it, maybe you should go to a place where they appraise things. I know of this show on tv but that's prob not even in your area. I think that maybe you should keep it in the fam. Keep passing it down & it'll REALLY be worth a lot (not say that it's not worth a lot now). You could give it to your son/daughter & ask them to pass it down when they get older or give it to someone in your fam who wouldn't sell it or anything. By the time your great great great great grandchildren get it, it should be worth TONS. Maybe you could even write a will & say who gets it & what the conditions are.

Wikki, he said that he has a certificate saying that it's authentic :s

Vantage isn't a great guitar so you would just be selling the autographs really. You'll just have to find out what memorabilia is worth to Cobain fans. Personally, I wouldn't walk across the street to pay a nickle for it but I don't care for Nirvana.

I'd do anything for that guitar! I wouldn't put it on eBay, people could've just forged the signiture. Id keep it if I were you

Kurt didn't play these....so you would have to authenticate that it is actually signed.....Could be worth some cash though if it is authentic.....message me with some more info or a pic.....

Get a professional appraisal. I would guess some cash. Thogh if you've seen a lot of stuff with his signature, maybe not as much.

Way too much. Donate it to the rock n roll hall of fame. You'll feel better than if you sold it.
