When I use one patch I'll get a lighter pitch but when I switch to another it has a deeper pitch even though they are up to the same level. If you understand what I am saying and have a solution please assist me.

You are talking about two different things here, one is volume, the other is pitch. Pitch is a different thing and has to do with tone/EQ.

From what I remember from this unit, you can set the volume as well as EQ on each patch, right? The user manual should tell you how to do this.

First, set the EQ (tone) and effects on the patches to your liking, then adjust the volume, You can't use a meter to set the perceived volume correctly - you need to trust your ears.

He is quite correct, all patches have there own EQ an effects.I have owned several proccessors. In order to get the results you are speaking of, changing the paramiters of each patch is not what you want. Example, some patches have more gain in order to acomplish the tone that patch needs, You can in most, goin and bump up the volume. I learned to run the amp a little hot and control everything through the guitar. as do almost all pro players.I have my volume down for rythmn, then turn up for leads. but You have to learn to control the effects you have. not just a simple plug an play, Just go in an adjust the volume. Do not change the eq unless you are creating you own patches. Plus on most effect pedel suggest you run your amp at neutral meaning bass, treble,an mids set at dead center.all set at 5. each patch has its own EQ.I run a modeling Amp on stage created all my own patches.volume is the same on all patches. But this doesn,t mean some tones are not a little thin. Its working with the pedal and getting exactly what you want.I love my amp, run through a four 12 cab, with 60 watts, more than enough power for 90% of the venues i play in. There are times i mike the cab, for bigger clubs or when i play outside, Hope we helped. That particular pedal has a ton of great patches. but the presets are there to show you what the pedal is capable of. and some patches that emulate other players tone.learning to use compression an delay can fattin up a sound considerbly,Its play an learn. I alway set all my effects at normal stage volume. that way when i setup for a gig i don,t discover
