Unsure of name of song but it exists. I think it says Chewing gum is sticking to the rail - definitely a call of a phoney horse race but I have not heard it for years.. Was it Aussie song. Always the speech slows when about to call poor old beetle bomb - I think silence followed by "and here comes Beetle Bomb" which is drawled out very slowly. Beetle Bomb always runs last from memory.

This is a really, really old song! It's by Spike Jones and called "Beetle Bomb." It might be 1940s - yep, as old as that!
