Definitely I'm not going to tune it an octave higher, but I wanted try use it to make bass guitar sounds. Will it be bad if I leave it tuned an octave lower?

Guitar strings are designed to be played within a small window of tension. If you tune your strings low, you need thicker strings to maintain the correct tension. If you tune regular strings an octave low, they'll be so loose they'll just flop around and rattle. The lower tension will probably cause your guitar neck to temporarily bend backwards. It should correct itself when you tune back up to standard pitch, so no permanent damage.

If you want to get bass sounds out of your guitar, why not buy an octave pedal?

If you would like a relatively inexpensive way to master guitar at home, downloadable guitar classes certainly are a easy and clear decision but for years, Jamorama, https://tr.im/3H8qZ is a huge front-runner in this industry, giving quality media guitar training that you can obtain to your computer.

Jamorama offers a good choice of lessons and is certainly an excellent pick for a beginning guitarist. Jamorama's video material is all in great HD quality, and their major coach, Mark McKenzie, does a congrats protecting the basic principles in a easy-to-understand and intuitive way.

no, it just means its in d tuning. if you use a floyd rose then you have to screw the bridge otherwise it will drop the strings into the neck
