i heard this song a long time ago and i found it offensive cuz im short 4 my age.they say short ppl got no reason to live but i think he got NO life so hes going round makin fun of ppl.

I think it's kind of mean, short people have a hard time in life and I feel the song should have also related to the positive aspects of being short. By picking on short people it just makes them bitter and unhappy. We don't pick on giants, we just promote them for basketball players. Short people are smarter as a group that the average group of folks! Some of the brightest people in the world are short.

1. Randy Newman wrote it as a novelty song, and it has come back to bite him in the ****.
2. I never liked the song. It's not funny, because it is at the expense of others. The song was often played at half-time on football games.
3. Whether or not it was meant innocently, or not, it's judgemental & conveys the message that if you are different in anyway, you have no reason to live. Bullocks!
