Master of Puppets.



Although they sold out a few years ago, and I wouldn't even think of buying any of their new stuff, Metallica's Master of Puppets was one hell of a record. Even by today's standerds, the music is fresh and vital. Even the instrumental "Orion" was way ahead of its time.



Black Sabbath were the inventors of metal, but if you don't own this record, you're a moron. It showed that men who play metal weren't just cokeheads out to find groupies, they could be true musicians, too.

oh please how can you even THINK to ask something like that? Black Sabbath is the MASTER and inventor of heavy metal and with Ozzy the best cd is was always will be Master of Reality no wait VOL IV no wait Paranoid no wait they are all eternally better than ANYTHING anyone else will ever attempt to do in the heavy metal vein. Sabbath is THE original, the best and always will be. just ask SYL (your pathetic favorite or any metal band not one will ever not say Sabbath I guarantee it on YOUR life)
