I love artists like Bassnectar, Deadmau5, Pendulum, and various other Dubstep/DnB/Other Electronic Musics.

I think it would be really ******* awesome to start trying to make some of this kind of music on my own, but I honestly have no clue where to start. Do they use certain types of programs? To edit sound files and put them together or something? I am not really certain. Any help on the subject please? :)

Firstly, 'Standing Stone' isn't a symphony. It is an increased piece in a few sections for orchestra and choir, however a symphony it surely isn't. 'Liverpool Oratorio' was once written in collaboration with composer Carl Davis and so Davis took accountability for writing down the tune. By the time of 'Standing Stone' a few years later, there was once a tune program software to be had that enabled McCartney to play tune on a keyboard and the program might relatively thoroughly produce the notation. It then handiest had to be checked and corrected for minor mistakes through different collaborators concerned within the assignment. I consider the conductor Lawrence Foster performed an major facet on this method and the orchestration of the paintings.

Both PC's and Mac's now days come loaded with a program (or buy it separately) called Garageband. That's what I use. I plug my guitar into an $90 audio interface (from a guitar store) which plugs into my computer. (sold as a separate program, Garageband is $200.00)

The Garageband program does the rest. You turn it on and you can even use your keyboard (very awkward and never comes out very vibey) as an instrument, but I recommend using their built-in repeat riffs and drum beats to create your own if you don't know how to play an instrument.

Garageband is the one I use on a mac, and it's a great music machine and you can record anything you do. Check out some of my creations on my profile page link.

1. buy a microphone

2. record your voice saying "wub wub wubwubwubwubwub wub wub"

3. post it on YouTube, get over 9000 views

4. ????

5. profit!

seriously your best way to start is to download the demo version of FL Studio. It's the easiest for beginners to work with
