Help with easy songs on guitar and drums?

Question

Me and a couple of my friends are going to try to make some music vids at the end of the summer, so I need help with basically 4 things:
1. List of songs that people who are decently good can play that involve drums, bass, guitars and lyrics

2. Help with learning the guitar (tips)

3. Help with learning the drums (tips)

4. How can I earn about $1,000 in a month when Im 14?

Thanks majorly with all or any of these questions!

Any full time job (40 hours per week) that at least pays 6.25 per hour will let you earn $1,000 in a month. You might be able to find odd jobs to fill up the time. You just have to price your time right.



As an alternative, pepole often sell instruments at lower prices. I just got an electric guitar for $150. So it pays to look at garage sales, classifieds and letting it get around by word of mouth that your looking for instruments or whatever.



I'd suggest finding some work that could help you grow. Something that you like which you have an ability. Then just sell that. For instance, making videos for local buisnesses. Be creative. It's in your spirit.



Journey's Faithfully is an excellent song to start with.



Tips for guitar: Practice scales. Learn the blues scale. Do some finger warm ups before playing like trying to keep a good position while playing notes up and down the first five frets of each string. Each day you practice you get stronger. Tune your guitar before playing. Use an electronic tuner.



Druming tips: Get drum pad and practice. Let the stick bounce. Practice with a metramone and anticpate the beat so you can sync up with it instead of listening and then striking as a reaction to the sound. Listen to music that you like and tap along with drum sticks and mimic the sounds, the softness, the loudness, and the grouve of the drums.
