I am bored with all the music I have on my mp3 player I listen to almost everything except jazz and country. I don't like pop to much but I guess it depends. So can anyone help me find new songs/bands? 10pts to who ever gives me the most songs I like. Thanks.

I think a major part of finding new music is giving different styles a try, or new artists at least. On iTunes, every week they have a free single and free music video of the week, it's usually new and unheard of musicians and it tends to be good sometimes. Back in... May, I believe, I downloaded the single of the week and it was "Fireflies" by Owl City. Now, that song is really popular, playing on radio stations everywhere. You could give that a try if you use the program. Also, you could do some research. Look up some reviews for new musicians and blogs about them, etc. Then, you can look up they're music to see if they're any good. Frequently listen to the radio. On IO, listen to numerous Music Choice channels, or Satellite: XM or Sirius. Or if you prefer some specific artists, you can always start following them. Join their websites and they can keep you in the know about when the new music is available. I could've given you a list of several "new" songs, but in the long-run, no music is NEW music. Music tastes and styles change so often, new albums are released weekly-- daily. New singles are coming out every hour. So really, a song that came out yesterday could be considered "old". There's some advice, I hope it helps you find something really great.
