What is a "side riser seat"? Specifically one at the Long Beach Convention Center.?

These are seat that are on "portable" platforms that are put on the floor of the convention center, right in front of and around the stage. Side risers are the seats on the left and right hand sides of the stage. The center risers are the closest seats you can get but all of the riser seats are portable seats so they are slightly inferior (feel) as compared to the regular seats.
