am i an un-true metalhead?

Question

well basically, i've been a metalhead since i was about 13, i'm 16 now (i'm a girl) i'm very creative, very good at art, left handed, all that fun stuff haha andd, i've always thought of myself as an "untrue" metalhead, because i listen to litterally everything.. deathcore, hardcore, metalcore, screamo, accoustic, industrial, country, atmospheric music, classical, folk music, every type of metal there is, gospel rock, alternative, pop, hip hop, raggae, arabic music, rock, nu-metal, rap, you name it. i like atleast one artist in that genre. and i'm serious. i've always seen the "true" or trv haha metalheads only (as far as i know) listen to true metal bands, mostly black metal, and all that jazz. i've also read that appreciating music as a whole makes someone a true metalhead. but idk. i'm wicked curious.

but you're whatever the hell you want to be. if liking chill deathcab and dallas green make you less of a metal head in some peoples eyes. they dont apreciate art. and thats all metal is so screw them. haha

I'm just like you!! I listen to everything but metal is my favorite genre and Slipknot is my favorite band! Anyway people that only listen to one type of music are just very close-minded, We're not un-true metal heads, we're just open minded music appreciators!

idk but the only thing that offends me is that there's no king diamond in there... and I'm pretty sure you don't have any lamb of god either... I'm not a metalhead exactly... I listen to metal and rap but it's all in what you like, who cares about the title? but def check out king diamond
