Does anybody else out there have perfect pitch?

Question

They say that one person in ten thousand has it but I have never met anyone else in the world that has it.I have met a couple of people that had good relative pitch but never anyone with perfect pitch such as myself.I would like to have conversation with anyone who has this ability and how it has affected your life.If you dont know what Im talking about,go ahead and take the 2 points,but I really would like as many honest answers to this question as I can get.I feel very isolated.

I do, though it's not very handy for me. I'm a competitive pianist, and piano does not require you to have perfect pitch. Some instruments, such as the violin, are certainly found slightly easier to play by individuals who have perfect pitch. I can tell any key a piece of music is played in, and can hum or sing any note I want. Too bad it isn't that handy for me. In piano institute classes I take, the teachers will ignore me when they ask "What key is this in?" because they know I always give the right answer. It isn't that important to me that I have perfect pitch, but it's fun sometimes if I want to know the key of a piece. Perfect pitch doesn't really make somebody very different from anyone else. It's an odd gift, in fact, because it doesn't help in life that much. But it can be quite fun and useful if you play an intrument, or just enjoy hearing the playing of music! Dang, I wish I had perfect pitch, but sadly, I don't. I'm a music major at a community college, and although I don't have it, I know about 10 people who do. So if you want to find someone else with perfect pitch, try a music school.

I've met and performed with at least 3 people that have perfect pitch. I have pretty good pitch, but not perfect.
