Don't you all agree that Willie Nelson's brain on drugs is much better than Willie Nelson not on drugs. When Nelson is high hes making beautiful music that millions of people identify with and help them get through the day.

And don't give me any crap about how this looks to "the kids". No kids are active Willie Nelson fans, and I garuntee no one listens to Willie Nelson to "want to be like him". As a matter of fact, you listen to Willie so you can get a gauge on what not to be like (mammas dont let your babies grow up to be cowboys).

Basically, I think Willie Nelson should get a free pass to smoke all the pot and trip on all the shrooms he wants. This isn't such a big deal. Hell if we can send people to Guantanamo indiscriminately, why cant we give people to ability to do drugs indiscriminately?

If the jury were his peers, of course he`d be acquitted. In all probability they r also substance users, so why would they find him guilty of the same charges they could be accused of.

That sounds like a great plan! Let Willie be Willie! And if he had a free pass it wouldn't be in the news so IF there are any 5 year olds out there that are huge Willie fans they probably wouldn't know about it anyway!

A free pass for Willie, at 73, absolutely!

"The Tao of Willie, A Guide to the Happiness in Your Heart" by

Willie Nelson with Turk Pipkin

- page 116 -

According to Cherokee legend, in the beginning of man's days on earth, each tree, shrub, and herb agreed to furnish a remedy for one of the diseases of man. And each of these plants said they would appear to help man when he or she called up them in their need.

(I enjoyed the book. I learned a lot about Willie, but more about life.)

Willie is being singled out because of the undeniable influence he has and is capable of.....not to mention some friction he experienced with some US government agencies.
