Riley plying the drums is not as confusing as the answers you have already got. ba ba boom huh wth is that ok some simple tips to begin with.

1.make sure you are holding the sticks correctly

2.sit comfortably at your kit

3.practice the drum rudiments(slowly at first then increase speed as your wrist strength and ability increase.

4.learn to read drum charts.

5.learn some basic beats and rhythms.build up your portfolio of styles as your ability increases.

6.PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

7. use a metronome and a practice pad for the rudiments.

8.if you are having problems slow it down !

Learn how to handle cocks, it will help you handle the drumsticks.

practice 30-60 mins a day. try simple stuff like "ba boom ba boom" and "boom boom" then a symbol crash.
