Green Day's best record was Dookie, though I do think they did a good job with American Idiot because it has such coherence and several refrains throughout the album.



They don't suck...yet, however I can think of buckets of other bands that are much better than Green Day. The radio tends to play processed filth, kiddies. Remember that.



Edit: Also, I can figure out almost any Green Day song immediately on the guitar. It's not complicated or even that musical. Moving around 5-chords isn't the type of thing that one could call "the best band in the world." But excuse me for being technical.

I freakin love Green Day! I didn't pay attention to them until Nimrod. Personally I like American Idiot a little better than Dookie! I don't own any posters and stuff but I have a billion pictures on my PC and Songs, Green Day make up 20% of all my music. I only really like BJ but he said he's bi so I don't no! Who cares? They rock anyway!

Greenday is one of the worst bands ever why? the musical instruments in the back ground sound like a bunch of school kids learning how to play and what they sing about well who would know you can hardly hear the guy but i happen to read the booklet on american idiot and well have never read so much crap in my life it just repeats it self over and over and well its meaningless music but yet old greenday is allright majority of people that do like greenday are woman and only like them because they are good looking which is ironic it doesnt make a talented muscision but these days i gues it is all how you look and talent isnt so important pathetic! wnat to listen to real music?
