Well friend...Why not....fundamental music theory is same for Guitar and Keyboard(or piano)...

You wont get exact impact though...coz,its a fact that while we play chords on Guitar we play almost 3 to 3.5 octaves in our one stroke...while the piano player has to move around his fingers for playin 3 octave or 3 and a half octave chords!

You can apply basic theory rules to play that on Keyboard or Piano...

As you must be knowing....chord is made up of (mainly) three notes....the first,the third and the fifth note of a scale (in theory....known as "Tonic" , "Medient" and "Dominant")

Hence....you need to find out the key of this song...

So,its a simple song with C major as its key...

Now look.....

C major chord= C E G (play these notes on the piano together)

By doing so....you get the C Major Chord!

Similarly

Em= E G B

Press these three notes together so,they become Em chord

Similarly.....F Major=F A C and G Major = GBD

(My opinion....friend...i'd suggest you to find chord positions by your own on the keyboard and then play....that makes music sound exciting coz you've discovered the things by yourself...better not copy the positions without knowing what they are and why was that position invented:)) Moreover...try playing arpeggios....watching the chord pattern...i think so(i'm not aware of this song) but,i think...on piano....arpeggios would sound much better:))

Well if you had really studied music theory, as you said, you would know that a C major is a C major no matter what instrument it's played on. If you have the chords, that should be all you need. If someone asked you to play a Bb major 7 chord and you don't know how, that's where you need to direct your education. Being able to read notes on a staff is one thing, but understanding what you're reading is important as well.
