im getting an electric guitar for my 16th (its PINK!!) and i need some decent songs to start learning. my fav band is queen and i love nirvana, van halen and bon jovi. but i also like bands like green day and aiden. what are some simple songs by these kinda bands that i can learn.

i got my first electric there like a month ago, and I can play a load of snogs already!
but your so lucky to want to learn Nirvana songs, coz to be honest, they're not hard at all, trust me, my first ever song was come as you are!!!

I actually just went to my guitar lesson for the first time and there was a song by nirvana that only used E minor, G major, A major, D major and C major. Learn these cords and you will be able to play a nirvana song "about a girl".

Van Halen - Aint Talkin Bout Love is awesome to play. The main A minor riff sounds good slow and fast. The solo is fairly easy too.

Smoke on the Water
It's a recognizeable riff, and it's super super easy to play. Whack up the volume and distortion and you won't even sound too bad :P

Well it's good ur interested in learning...umm just try one u like alot and know the lyrics to, it'll help. If its too hard try another one and come back to it.
